Brooke Veigl is a communications professional who spent the past five years of her career in the newspaper industry.
During her time as a copy editor and layout designer at the Times Record News, Brooke participated in the redesign of a weekly entertainment guide
and monthly business magazine and produced a number of pages for publication each week. She also occasionally wrote movie reviews and other blurbs.
Before graduating cum laude with a degree in English and mass communications, she served two years as the communications leader for the Baptist Student Ministry at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Her duties included promoting the organization through a monthly newsletter and on-campus media, designing advertising copy and layouts and acting as a liaison between the BSM and the university. Brooke also spent six months in Denver, Colo., as an intern writing feature stories for a statewide publication.
